What is Ayushya Havan or Homa?

Ayushya Havan or Ayushya Homa is a Sathwika Pooja performed primarily seeking the overall growth, well-being, physical and psychological development of children. This Sathvika Homam is performed with the sole intention of overall growth and well-being.

The word Ayushya means Lifespan in Sanskrit. Ayushya homam or Ayush Homam is the worship of Ayurdevata (God of life). Ayush Homam is performed to improve health. This divine pooja has many other great benefits and brings happiness and prosperity to the lives of people. It is a pooja dedicated to Ayurdevata or the God of life. This homam is done chanting Ayush Suktam and chanting Ayurdevata Mantras.
